Here's an itinerary and guide for our Galway City to Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher day tour or overnight option. This is the only way you can see the Cliffs of Moher from Galway without a car or bus.
The ferry departs begins at 9:30am at Galway City Docks which is a short walk from Galway City centre.

Guests have 4.5 hours to spend on iconic Inis Mór, a culturally fascinating Irish community like no other. There are plenty of tours available on arrival where you can enjoy the sites, stories and soak up the atmosphere unrivalled anywhere else on the Wild Atlantic Way. Inis Mór is pretty flat and good for walkers and cyclists, you’ll find bikes are available for hire when you step off the ferry.
Minibus Tours with a local guide are lined up along the pier on arrival and a great way to explore the island.
The world-renowned Cliffs of Moher are a short boat ride away, and some of the best views possible are from sea level! But before we get there, check out the incredible views of the other Aran Islands, Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr, along the journey. Father Ted fans will spot the famous Plassey Shipwreck which ran onto the rocks in 1960, and features in the opening credits of the classic TV series.
